Ingredients
Two cans (8 oz each) of food Crescent rolls that stay cold
8 mozzarella string cheese sticks, cut in half (16 pieces all together)
6 tablespoons of melted salted butter
4 to 5 cloves of garlic, grated or chopped small
½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning
Half a teaspoon of dried parsley
½ teaspoon of dried basil
Instructions
Warm up and get ready.
Warm the oven to 190°C (375°F). To make cleanup easy, put parchment paper around the edges of a baking sheet with a lip.
Make the butter with garlic.
Put grated garlic, Italian spice, parsley, and basil in a small bowl. Add the melted butter and mix well.
Step 1: Make the Crescent Rolls.
Take the crescent roll dough out of the roll and cut it into pieces. Place the pieces on a clean, flat surface.
Put in the Cheese
Put a half-cut piece of string cheese at the most significant point of each triangle. Tuck the ends of the dough in to make a tight seal around the cheese.
Use garlic butter on the brush.
Brush the garlic butter mixture generously on each roll, saving some to brush on after baking.
Bake
Place the rolls on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving room between them. Let it bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until it turns golden brown and puffs up.
The finishing touch
After removing it from the oven, brush it with the rest of the garlic butter to make it taste even better. Enjoy the cheesy, spicy goodness while it’s still warm!
Notes
Close the edges well so the cheese doesn’t leak out while it’s baking.
Change things up by trying cheddar, gouda, pepper jack, and other cheeses.
You can dip them in garlic mayonnaise, marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or ranch dressing.

Leftovers can be kept in the fridge for up to three days in a container without air.
